Bought a brand new vehicle and paid the sales tax, etc within a timely manner. We paid the amount due. A few weeks later, a message was left on our answering machine wanting $40 more. A second call received describing that they had made a mistake figuring the tax, threathened that the registration was voided even though we had already paid well over $2000. Individual very unprofessional nor apologetic for their mistake.
Friendly and respectful staff just like any dmv i have been too there is a wait usually but it goes by quickly.
Usually, you are in and out in a timely manner. This is much better than other states or even other locations in Missouri.
The waiting area was about half full when we arrived. The place isn't that big, but we still waited over 40 minutes (5 people ahead of us.) Then 2 of the 3 ladies took breaks 1 hour before closing time with many more waiting after us. But the worst part was the overwhelming smell of mold. Four hours later my husband still has a horrible headache and severe sinus problems from being in the building. I usually am not bothered by mold but I also have lingering sinus pain. This needs to be resolved. It's hazardous to the health.
It would be good to have some professional behavior in this office. This is how we get to be known as country bumpkins.
